Self-Esteem and Studies

Self-Esteem

High self-esteem means that we appreciate ourselves and our personal worth. More specifically, it means

- We have positive attitudes
- We value ourselves highly
- We`re convinced of our own abilities
- We see ourselves as competent, in control of our own lives and able to do what we want.

Low self-esteem can mean helplessness, powerlessness and even depression.

Self-esteem affects all our decisions – and, like a garden, needs constant tending.

High self-esteem and learning is closely connected. Be attentive to your self-esteem when you are a student.

Self-esteem and confidence comes from doing things. Before you can ride a bicycle or drive a car, you have to learn how – self confidence comes with practice.

Mistakes are an important part of the learning process. Learn to shrug them off or laugh about them.
